Mar. 03, 1968 - Carriage for the Captain. A brewer's dray fitted with the captain's bridge chair being used at Chatham dockyard yesterday to carry Captain B.D.O. MacIntyre from the guided missile destroyer Kent, 5, 200 tons, at the end of his command. The Kentish horses were used for the ceremony because of the ship's association with the county. A captain is usually towed out by his officers
