Sep. 09, 1966 - Two Paratroopers who Rowed across the Atlantic arrive in London: The Two Paratroopers who rowed across the Atlantic arrived in London yesterday - by aircraft. The army relaxed to give them a hero's welcome when 40 officers and men of the Paraehute Hagiment waved their red berates in greeting at bthe plane landed at London airport. The Caramen Srgeans Charles Blyth and Captain John Ridgway, were on Englishil for the first time since they left to start their 92-days voyage across the Atlantic from America. They had flown from Eire where they had landed four days ago.
