Mar. 03, 1967 - Awards for Gallantry in Aden; The man who led the rat cathers of Aden, fighting Arab terrorists on their own ground and with their own methods, was awarded the British Empire Medal yesterday. He is Sergeant Robert Bogan, 32, of the Somerset and Cornwell Light Infantry. the citation, published yesterday, says Sergeant Bogan became a marked man and was the target of three grenade attackes. One terrorist he captured had been briefed to kill him. Sergeant Bogan is now back in British and lives with his wife and four children in Army married quarters at Chatham, Kent. Another man from the some regiment is to receive the Queen's Commendation for bravery in Aden. He is Sergeant Peter Blade, 29, who had four grenade thrown at him in one night. One of them hit his vehicle, says the citation, but his early reaction was uncanny calmness
