Feb. 02, 1969 - Olave, Lady Baden-Powell Returns For Her 80th. Birthday: The World Chief Guide, Olave, Lady Baden-Powell, flew back to London today. Since December 16 she has been in Kenya seeing old friends and revisiting her old home Paxtu in Nyeri where she and her husband lived for four years before his death 8th. January, 1941. As always she has been busy with Guiding affairs and attending to her work with the East African Women's League. She will be 80 on Saturday, Feb. 22.
