Jun. 06, 1970 - The Rev. Ian Paisley at the House of Commons: The Rev. Ian Paisley, Protestant Unionist MP for Antrim North, arrived at the House of Commons today, and said he would not raise any objections when Benadette Devlin arrived to take her sear after serving a six month sentence. I don't think this would be the right course at all, he said. I have been inside as an MP when I came out. This is not the way democracy dhould work.
