Oct. 30, 1969 - Anti-Rabies shoot at Camberley - Sixty Ministry of Agriculture marksmen, with 60 soldiers acting as beaters, were taking part today in the anti-rabies hunt across the Old Dean and Barden commons at Camberley, Surrey, where a dog with rabies ran wild a fortnight ago. Shotguns were being used to kill foxes, hares and rabbit, and a variety of smaller animals and birds who, it is feared may spread the disease.
