Feb. 02, 1970 - Common Market Safeguards Campaign Launched: The Common Market Safeguards Campaign is being launched today in order to voice the opinion of that large and growing section of the public in all parties and all walks of life who believe that Britain should not join the common Market without far more stringent and effective safeguards than theresent Government has yet undertaken to secure.
