Nov. 11, 1970 - Cenotaph wreath in loving memory of Fred.: At 11 o'clock today, Fred Kemp, who went to glory on a Belgian battlefield 55 years ago, had his usual wreath laid on the Cenotaph by his window, Louisia, now in her 84th year, is the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month'. And that was which she remembered her Grenadier guardaman who went out of her life 1915. In a sense, Louisia Kemp has never stopped looking after Fred. For 45 years, with a gap in the ;last war, she went to Belgium to tend his grave, and those of his comrade about it. Then she got a bit too old for the journey, but kept going to the Cenotaph. Photo shows Louisia Kemp pictured placing her wreath on the Cenotaph in Whitehall today
