Dec. 12, 1970 - Electricity Production Cut: Electricity production was cut by a third throughout the country for three hours and more at a time yesterday, the third day of the power station workers go-slow and overtime ban. Photo shows Mr. Jack Hill, the London Electricity Board's Chief operating engineer and the man who is trying to save one million kilowatts of electricity a day, warning Mr. George Bright, a control engineer, to get ready yesterday to operate the switch which minutes later cut off 30, 000 kilowatts and left much of the City, including Fleet Street, without power for about three hours
