Nov. 11, 1967 - Mermaid visits royal navy's Plymouth command diving school: 22-year old Anne Furness, westward television's resident mermaid in an angling quiz show called take the Bait paid a visit to the royal navy's Plymouth command diving school. Anne, whose home town is Bridlington, yarks, but is now living at st. Eval, Cornwall, was invited to spend a day at the diving school after the divers saw her programme.
