Nov. 11, 1971 - Teenage girl tarred and feathered: A teenage girl had her hair shaved off before being tarred and feathered in the Bogside area of Londonderry yesterday. It was her punishment for going out with a soldier. It was the second similar incident in the Bogside within a week and followed a warning by the women's section of the IRA that girl who continued to fraternize with British soldier would be tarred and feathered.
