Sir Gerald, and his secretary-chauffeur, Mrs Margaret Mason, 41, had both claimed that she was driving Sir Gerald's Daimler NAB 1 when witnesses claimed it forced two other vehicles off the road and drove the wrong way around a roudnabout at Tatton, Hants, last May. But the jury. by an 11- majority rejected this claim and found Sir Gerald - president of the Commons Motoring Club - guilty of dangerous driving, Sir Gerelad, who was ordered to pay the prosecution's costs, estimated at 1, 000 for the two-day hearing, said last night that his sentence was savage and unjust'. He would pay the 250 fine, but would consider an appeal'. Photo shows Sir Gerald Nabarro returning to London by train with his wife yesterday, after he had been convicted at Winchester of dangerous driving. He had denied the charger
