Aug. 08, 1971 - Internment Without Trial For Ira Suspects In Ulster: Three hundred Ira suspects were arrested in dawn swoops by the Army in Ulster yesterday, as the Stormont Government too powers to intern them without trial, in response to mounting terrorism which was brought the province near to all-out-c9ivil war. The new measures, under the Special Powers Act, include a six-month ban on all processions including Thursday's Protestant Apprentice Boys; March in Londonderry.
