Fighting Broke out at one of the biggest pop festivals ever held in Britain this weekend. Many people were detained by the police after a battle between spectators, Hells Angels and organisers at the festival at Weeley, Essex. Thousands of fans scattered, with girls screaming, as the festival security forces tackled Hells Angels who brandished pickaxe handles, lenghts of metal tubing and tree branches. Then police with truncheons were called in to restore order.
