Jul. 07, 1974 - Funeral Of Shot Policeman: The funeral service for Po. John Schofield, took place today at the Parish Church of Caterham-on-the-Hill today, before cremation at Worth. Po. Schofield was killed by a gunman while driving a police patrol car in Croydon Road, Caterham, last Saturday. Two other policemen who were with him, were wounded. Photo shows Po. Schofield's widow, Geraldine, 26, arriving for the service, flanked by police officers today
