Nov. 11, 1974 - Bride had to drive herself to the church.: 20-year old bride, Jill Yeo had to drive herself to the church. When chauffeur Richard Debenham arrived in his Rolls Royce to collect her, the driving seat slipped forward and jammed, trappi his 20 stone against the wheel. Jill and her father managed to free him, but the seat stayed jammed and he couldn't squeeze back. The seat was too far forward for Mr. Yeo to take pver, so Kill squeezed behind the Wheel and drove herself to the church. Said Jill, of Barsnatble, Devon, It was either drive myself or arrive at the church late'. And her waiting bridegroom, 21-year old Francis Tucker, wouldn't have liked that, she declared.
