Dec. 12, 1975 - Police refuse plea for food for IRA gunmen holding couple hostage in a london flat: Four IRA gunmen holding a married couple in one room of a Marylehbone council flat were refused fond by police last night. The gang, who were barricaded in the sitting room on the first floor, were also without running water or a lavatory. The four gunment including a man believed to be Michael Wilson. one of two sors wanted for the murder of Rose Mcwhirtee and involvement in the murder of a London policemen in February. As the siege entered its second night last night, scored of police, including marksmen, surrounding the floodlit block of flats waiting for any movement. Whenever anyone made any movement in the street, police took aim at the first floor balcony of the living room where the gunmen were holding their hostages
