Feb. 26, 1976 - Reg Prentice suffers a Major setback in his report to keep his parliamentary seat.: Mr. Reg Prentice, Minister of the Overseas Development, suffered a major setback to his efforts to keep his parliamentary seat when his constituency Labour Part last night elected his Trotskyist arch-opponent Mr. Tony Kelley as Secretary. At the annual meeting of the Newham North-East party Mr Kelly beat Alderman Jack Hart, the pro-Prestice candidate by 46 votes to 40. Other party posts went to anti-Prentice nominees.
