Aug. 08, 1976 - Drought will put up food prices says the agricultural Minister: A warning of food shortages and higher prices because of the drought was give yesterday by Mr. Peart, Agricultural Minsiter, during a tour of parched farming areas. He thought the rise in prices of vegetables would come very soon. Mr. Peart was speaking at Bristol at the end of the first of his two days in East Anglia, the West Midlands and West Country.
