Mar. 03, 1976 - A Bomb Blasts an Empty Train in London. A bomb exploded on an empty train that was leaving Cannon Street Station in the city of London during the rush hour this morning. A train alongside, which had also left the station carrying a few passengers, was damaged. Eight passengers were taken to hospital to be treated for shock, cuts and minor injuries. The train in which the blast happened had, only minutes earlier, been full of commuters. Photo Shows: The wrecked compartment of the train damaged by the bomb (left) and the train which was alongside when the blast happened showing the broken windows in background today
