Oct. 10, 1977 - Home Secretary Merlyn Rees shouted down by angry police: Mr. Rees, the Home Secretary, was shouted down in a storm of slow hand claps, boos and hisses by hundreds of angry London policemen at Central Hall, Westminster, last night. The police are in despair at not being treated as a special case in their demands for more pay.
