Mar. 03, 1977 - SERCK EMPLOYEES IN PROTEST DRIVE: Associated Engineering, a large multinational company has made a bid for the share capital of a medium-sized group of companies called Serck Limited. The board of Serck Limited have noted unanimous rejection of the bid, and for the last week employees of Serck have made an unprecedented support of the Directors in opposing the bid. The publicity obtained by this reaction has been incredible in provincial parts of the country - and today it was the turn of London employees to pay their part. The 45 vehicles involved in today's protest represent Serck Services, a division of Serck Limited which provides a supply service to the Motor Trade. The protest drive was from Billingsgate to Parliament Square. Keystone Photo Shows:- some of the protesters pictured with their placards, before moving off from Billingsgate this morning
