Oct. 10, 1976 - Great Britain's heaviest man tests the strength of a glass door.: Hardly an hourglass figure, but that's the shape of the Heaviest man in Great Britain, 34-year-old Jack Robinson, who weighs 37-stone 5 lbs. Today Jack tested the strength of a Permatuff toughened glass door when he stood on it with the help of two hostesses at the Do It Yourself Exhibition at the Empire Hall, Olympia, London.
