Mar. 30, 1979 - March 30th 1979 Conservative MP Airey Neave killed in car bomb blast at the Commons Mr. Airey Neave, the Conservative Shadow Under-Secretary for Northern Ireland, was killed this afternoon as he drove his car from the underground car park in the House of Commons. The bomb was said to have been hidden in the front of the car.
