Aug. 08, 1975 - A four year old girl is shot dead in Ulster gun battles: A year old girl was killed last night during gun battles between troops and terrorists in the Lower Falls area of Belfast. The fighting was the culmination of Ulster's most violent weekend since the Provisional IRA began its ceasefire eight months ago. The gunfights, which involved bot Protestants and Catholics, erupted as 300 Catholic youths rampaged through the Protestant area after a 2, 000 strong rally.
