Feb. 02, 1981 - PHONE BOXES GO YELLOW: Ever since the early 1930's phone boxes throughout Britain have been red-but now as an experiment they are painting them yellow, and their 77, 000 in all. This new color scheme has been thought up by Telecom, and will cost a minimum of £1 million to paint all these telephone boxes.
