Oct. 10, 1969 - Women Pipe Smokers At The Festival Hall: As the first stage of a market research programme, Britain's biggest pipe tobacco manufacturers, Ogdon's of Liverpool, entertained a group of women pipe smokers at the Riyal Festival Hall, London, today. The women sampled ten of Ogden's leading brands as they told company officials why the enjoyed pipe-smoking and were invited to make suggestions about the type of tobacco and pipes they would prefer.
