University students protest in Buenos Aires, Argentina

Sep. 09, 1966 - Continuing Incidents Of Argentine Students: as in other Argentine cities the students protested again as the new government ended with the autonomy of the universities and this time the demonstrations took place in response to the death of one of the students, Santiago Pampillon. With banners they marched through the city but immediately the police ended the march with teargas, the demonstration finished and as usual several injuries and arrests. Meanwhile some faculties of the universities are still without activity as professors are not resuming their work
