May 05, 1960 - Memorial for the German Cavalry: On March 29th, a memorial for the Cavalry was unveiled in Munich. It shows a horse of bronze based on a design by 79-year-old sculptor Prof. Bernhard Bleeker. The money for the monument 100 000 D-Marks was raised by a private association.
