Feb. 02, 1961 - The Music Man Rehearsal.: Twelve year old Gillian Martindale from Norbury, who makes her stage debut in The Music Man, was rehearsing at the Adelphi Theatre, London, today with leading man Van Johnson ('Professor Harold Hill), and Patricia Lambert (Marian Paroo). Gillian plays Gracie Shinn, a singing, dancing and speaking role. She has been acting professionally since she was six in films. Her latest is Blue Murder at St. Trinians'. The Music Man opens at the Adelphi on March 16th after a short provincial run at the Hippodrome, Bristol, beginning February 24th until March 4th.
