Viennese designer Jerline's new Elizabeth shawl-waistcoat

Mar. 31 Vienna designer introduces the new style Elizabeth waistcoat shawl, and offers one to the Queen. Jerline, the world famous Vienna designer, has just introduced a new style shawl-waistcoat which he has named Elizabeth in honour of Queen Elizabeth and her Coronation. The shawl-waistcoat is fitted with sleeves to prevent the usual annoying slipping off the shoulders, and gives fuller cover to the back. Made in a variety of materials with different trimmings, the garment is suitable for all times of the day. Jerline hopes that Her Majesty will accept one as a gift from Vienna. Keystone Photo Shows: This Elizabeth is made of pale yellow jersey trimmed with a black fringe and can also be used as a head scarf. The garment offered to the Queen will be in pure white and trimmed with golden threads. JSS/Keystone
