Feb. 28, 1967 - Da Nang, Vietnam - Private LL LINEGAR of the US Seventh Marines takes a little prisoner into custody which he found during the operation held just after the New Year's ceasefire, southwest of Da Nang, Vietnam. In the 1950's, the US began to send troops to Vietnam, during the following 25-year period, the ensuing war would create some of the strongest tensions in US history
