Mar. 22 Missing in Action: Captain Walter Kosko A03103359, U.S. Air Foce. Native of Blacksburg, Virginia. Born May 23, 1938. Graduate of Blacksburg high school - June, 1956. Enlisted in air force shortly after graduation. Shot Down Near Hanoi July 25, 1965. Officially listed as missing in action. Family still does not know whether he is alive. Not one letter has been received. Mother has spent 21 months in a hospital during this period of time. Father is presently in a nursing home - has been hospitalized since April, 1967. Girl He intended to Marry has married someone else (after waiting four years and never finding out if he is alive or dead)
