Apr. 18 The Queen mother to visit Lundy Island: First ever visit to the Lonely Island: The Queen Mother is to visit Lundy Island in the Bristol Channel on Sunday May 11. She will put down from the Royal yacht Britannia if the weather conditions are suitable for anchorage and for disembarking on the only landing beach. She will be the first member of the Royal Family ever to visit the romantic and lonely is and with one shop, one avern, a weather station and Miss Barbara Whitaker, the Wuraen of the Usland Field Society. The Queen mother will be returning from her trip to Ireland. This is one of a series of pictures showing what the Queen mother an expect to see on her visit.
