Vijay Amritraj and Jimmy Connors in match at Wimbledon
Jul. 07, 1981 - Ouch What a way to get a Let It could have been very nasty for tennis star Jimmy Connors during his quarter finals match against Vijay Amritraj at Wimbledon yesterday. Connors rushed to the net in an attempt to return a shot which he missed and had to jump over the net. As he stepped over the net to return to his side, gentleman Amritraj lowered it for him, but playfully let it go as Connors was halfway over making it a bit painful. Connors went on to win after a five set thriller
