Feb. 28 77 BRIDGESTONE LADIES DOUBLES CHAMPIONSHIPS The finals of the US00, 000 Ladies Doubles Tennis Championships took place in Tokyo on the 9th and 10th tioril with 16 ladies taking part. The winners were Betty Stove and I. Navratilova who beat Virginia Wade and Francoise Durr in straight sets (7-5, 6-3) to take the first prize of 6, 000. Billy Jean King, who last year teamed Betty Stove won the championship, had to be content with 3rd place. Playing with Rosemary Casals against M. Jausovec and V.
