Sep. 09, 1971 - World of the Opera Pentheus in Bonn (Germany): With the premiere of the opera Pentheus by Virginio Puecher (Libretto) and Francesco Valdambrini (Music) the theatre season in Bonn starts again on September 9th. The Story is about Euripides and the introduction of the Dionysos-cult in Thebes. The direction is also by Virginio Puecher. More than 100 singers, actors and dancers take part in the piece.
