Mar. 03, 1970 - Rome: Gala performance at Opera House for the premiere of latest film of the Italian actress Sophia Loren, principal star of the film The Sunflowers filmed in USSR under the direction of Vittorio De Sica. The screen star was contested by the Roman photographers out of spite because she did not receive the photographers inside her villa in Marino, during which she showed her son Carlo Jr. to the newsmen and to the only photographer admitted to take photos. So the other photographers, this night, refused to take photos of Sophia Loren and her husband Carlo Ponti.
