Volkswagen trial opens in Celle, Northern Germany

Dec. 12, 1952 - Volkswagen Trial opened in Celle, Lower Saxony, Northern Germany: Herr Kurt Stolz, one of the many thousands of German citizens who invested their capital in War Bonds has now brought a lawsuit against the Volkswagen firms which were owned by the German government before and during World War Two. Thousand of German citizens want at least a partial repayment of Reichsmark amounts they invested for the purpose of building the Volkswagen car.
