Nov. 21, 1958 - Audition for boys to Play a watering can; An audition was held last evening to find two schoolboys to blow down the spout of a watering can to sound an A which is needed to tune the orchestra at cartoonist Gerald Hoffnung's Interplanetary Musical Festival'. The candidates had to be not more than 12 years old, small and fat. They will blow the watering cans at Hoffnung's two crazy Concerts'. today and tomorrow at the Royal Festival Hall, London.
