1972 - This is not a pretty picture. But drought is not a pretty subject Neither is death, even the death of a fox. This is what is happening in the North West today as a direct result of the drought in New South Wales. This fox died on its feet, bedded in a sandy waste that just a few months ago was rich pasture.
