Wife of US ambassador and disabled children in swimming pool
Jan. 23, 1969 - Dr Joseph Comiti, Secretary of State for Youth and Athletics, Sargent Shriver, the US Ambassador in Paris, and Mrs Shriver participated in the opening of three days of conferences and demonstrations in an annex of the National Institute of Sports. After the traditional speeches, Mrs Shriver asked for a swimsuit and slipped in the pool to play with the disabled children
