Aug. 08, 1953 - Pieck back home: Wilhelm Pieck, East German Premier, arrived in Berlin, after a three-months-trip to the Soviet Union. Upon his return, he was received by East German government members, Russian High Commission Civil servants, and representatives of the communist S.E.D. party.
