Jan. 01, 1964 - THE RELUCTANT PEER'. WILLIAM DOUGLAS-HOME, playwright brother of Prime Minister SIR ALEC DOUGLAS-HOME, has written a play about a storybook British peer who gives up his title to stand for Parliament as Prime Minister (as did SIR ALEC). The play, entitled The Reluctant Peer will open at London's Duchess Theatre on January 15th.
