Willie Hall, Canadian senator, arrives at Harrods, London

Mar. 31 Eskimo Taxi: Canada's First Eskimo senator turned up in traditional style when he visited an ethnic exhibition in London. Instead of using one of the capital city's distinctive black taxis or double-decker buses, he chose to arrive on a dog-sled. Far from the snowy wastes of Canada, a team of huskies steered by an experienced dog-handler, delivered Senator Willie Adams to the top London Store of Harrods. An exhibition of sculpture, prints and photographs of the Eskimo race was staged at the store. Photo Shows Canada's first Eskimo senator, Willie Hall (seated) arrives by sled
