Sep. 09, 1970 - Federal Chancellor Willy Brandt in Munich: For the purpose of an election meeting Federal Chancellor Willy Brandt came to visit the Bavarian capital. The second part of it not quite as official as the first took place in a typical Bavarian atmosphere. With a brass-band playing, pretzels and beer in mugs a little Oktoberfest was being celebrated eight days before the real one will be opened. Willy Brandt appeared at a beer-tent at the world-famous grounds of the Oktoberfest in Munich, West Germany, it has been one of the most cheerful conferences of the SPD-Party for some time.
