Willy Spuhler to be new President of Switzerland
Dec. 11, 1967 - The new Swiss Prime Minister: This week the Swiss parliament will elect the new prime minister, who is the president of the federal council. As it wants tradition, the actual vice president becomes automatically, by purely formal elections, president for the next year, so that the election of the vice president corresponds to the real election of the president of 1969. Elected is always a member of the executive. This year Mr. Willy Spuhler, minister for foreign affairs, actually vice president, will be elected for president. Vice President, that too we know in advance, will be Mr. Ludwig von Moos, minister of the justice department. Photo Shows Mr.Spuhler
