Winston Churchill presents trophy, Biggin Hill, Kent
Sep. 09, 1954 - Sir Winston Churchill presents trophy: The Prime Minister, Sir Winston Churchill, Honorary Air Commodore of No. 615 (Country of Surrey) Squadron, Royal Auxilliary Air Force, this afternoon presented the Esher Trophy to the squadron at R.A.F. Station, Biggin Hill. The Esher Challenge Trophy is awarded annually to the most efficient fighter squadron of the R.Aux.A.F. This is the first time that No. 615 Squadron has won the trophy.
