Sep. 10, 1947 - Mr. Churchill sees his Pets at the London zoo: Mr. Winston Churchill, this afternoon paid a visit to the London zoo, where he say Digger the albino kangaroo presented to him by the Stock Owners Association of South Australia, and also his lion Rota, which in the early days of the war and under a different owner, lived in a back garden in Pinner.
