Oct. 26, 1967 - Another Winston Chuchill in the House?: Will there be another Winston Churchill in the House of Commons? This question will be answered when the result of the Gorton (Manchester) by-Election is known next Thursday(2nd November). For the Conservative candidate is Mr. Winston S.Churchill, grandson of sir Winston Churchill, The famous former prime Minister, and son of Mr. Randolph Churchill. Twenty-Seven-Years-old Mr. Winston Churchill is now busily electioneering at Gorton, where Mr, . Konni Zilliacus, the former labour member, had a majority of 8, 308. There are five Candidates for the this by-election and it is expected to be a photo-finish between the conservative and labour contenders.
